Meet the Boss

Have you joined Squad Builder yet? Well if you haven’t you’re going to miss out on an exclusive evening with Steve Anderson, his coaching team, and the Wolves players. On Wednesday 20th of February everyone who has signed up for Squadbuilder has been invited to Wilderspool to hear a presentation from the Wolves new Performance Director Steve Anderson. Accompanying Ando at the evening will be members of his coaching team, including Gary Chambers.

The main aim of the evening is to introduce the scheme members to the player they have chosen to support for the coming season. Voting forms were sent out to members this week giving details of seven up and coming stars at Wilderspool. The Squadbuilder members will vote as to which of the stars of the future they wish the scheme to support for the next 12 months. If you have received a form make sure you have your say and return it asap. As well as selecting one existing member of the first team squad the scheme also has the opportunity to fund the signing of one of the most highly rated young talents in the local game, Steve Pickersgill, who currently plays for Crosfields.

The evening gets under way at 7:30pm in the Platinum Club at Wilderspool. THIS EVENT IS ONLY OPEN TO SCHEME MEMBERS, but don’t worry if you haven’t signed up yet there is till time. If you click on the link below it will take you to our ‘How To Join’ page with a .pdf version of the application form. Print this form out and complete it, WITH YOUR BANK DETAILS and then either return it to Wilderspool before next Wednesday or just bring it along with you on the evening and you’ll be part of the club!

Intial recruitment to the scheme has gone well, but there are still a large proportion of Wolves fans that are yet to join. Squadbuilder in not a short-term fix, it’s about helping to secure the future of the club for the years to come. If you want to play your part then click the ‘How To Join’ link at the bottom of this page.

If you needed one there is an added insentive. A draw will take place on the night in which all those in attendance will have the chance to win tickets to a Wolves league game of their choice, or the fifth round cup tie against Saints.
