Warrington Wolves’ gym facility over at the University of Chester Warrington Campus has recently acquired new training mats to be used by all levels of the playing squad.
The new mats were funded by Squadbuilder and the Vice Presidents’ Association, providing an improved training environment for all players.
Peter Riding, Warrington head of youth, said: “The new mats will be great for all players within the Warrington Wolves’ development pathway. The work we are able to do with the players on the mats is essential in making sure that they are game ready. I would like to thank SquadBuilder for their continued support, as without their efforts to raise money we would not be able to make these necessary changes. I would also like to thank the Vice Presidents for their part-sponsorship of the mats. It is much appreciated.”
A spokesperson for Squadbuilder added: “We work closely with the club’s youth development programme and our members are proud to play their part in supporting home-grown talent. Collectively the Supporters’ Trust and SquadBuilder have donated over £200,000 to the club and the sponsorship of these mats is just the latest example of the money going towards helping the future of our club.”
